It reminds me that we are most comfortable and relaxed when basking in light in the warm end of the spectrum, because, in our genetic make up, we associate this from hunter-gatherer times when at nightfall, when we couldn't do anything else (like do a night shift!) we would sit securely around a fire with our clan and maybe tell each other stories.

Seeing that a baby only a few months into this world already has a circadian rhythm, I find myself watching him with wonder. The physiological explanation makes sense to me. Thank you.
They are endlessly fascinating. I still marvel at what infinite number of coincidences had to fall perfectly into place for either of my children to be born. From the formation of carbon based life through a mutual friend unintentionally introducing me to their mother and then which seed met which egg. It boggles!
I am not normally drawn to high contrast images. But, I must say, your images of the city at sunset are eye-catching for me. Through your images, I can feel the "vibe" of this city at this hour. I suspect our very high dynamic range camera sensors today help here with some detail and texture retained in the shadows. Well done! Thank you.
Thank you. I am glad to hear that. Some of these were taken with a Canon compact camera. The sensor is smaller than APS-C, but it is more than enough now.
really obsessed about the gorgeous light in your photos. ahhh I dont miss those days of the witching hour, was total despair. Now I can marvel at the sunset and appreciate the transitioning from day to night
